Working towards a clean energy future for Polk County

What We Are

PCED is a county-level non-profit created to lead, implement and accelerate the locally-owned clean energy transition.

Our Vision

We envision a Polk County where everyone has access to locally-owned clean energy and energy efficiency improvements. We aim to make a difference for future generations by acting as a resource within a growing energy district network throughout Iowa.

Our Mission

PCED engages all residents of Polk County to promote an inclusive and prosperous clean energy future.
